Catholic University of Timor-Leste, Dili, November 22, 2023 On Tuesday, November 22, 2023, the Chief of Staff Mrs. Jesuína Maria Gomes represented the Presidency at the closing ceremony and Florence Nightingale oath of students from the Nursing Course at the Catholic University of Timor-Leste (UCT). The Florence Nightingale Oath is a solemn promise that nursing students make for the health and lives of others. This activity is part of UCT's ongoing efforts to improve education in the country, especially in the health sector. The Catholic University of Timor-Leste continues to strive to advance the health sector in the country, especially in the adequate care of sick patients. Cardinal Dom Virgílio do Carmo da Silva SDB congratulated the new nurses for their important contribution to the future of the country.
